Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey there Insidious!

I will start by observing your nice tone and clean tight playing - the issue here tho, is timing - you have some timing fluctuations all over the piece regarding rhythm and the lead.

I suggest recording against the original for this one, as it's going to show where your timing is shaky.

How about another take man? It's a shame not to get that 10 for how clean you could deliver this one!

Hi Insidious! Nice take! Your tone is really good and clean on this one! I have to agree with Cosmin about your timing on this take.
Practice it a bit more concentrating your playing 100% tight. wink.gif

Very nice take! My suggestion since this is a rhythm lesson would be to try to sync with the backing track and drums in order to get a tight groove. This is very important. Bass drum and snare can be used to get in sync.

Everything else sounds very good - with tight rhythm parts this take would be 10.
Also your playing is very clean - good job! smile.gif

Timing...it looks like You're always a little to early before the backing track beats buteverything sounds ok. You play nice and clean and I see your left hand is nicely muting unwanted strings. You're on a very good way ! smile.gif
