Hey, I got a NI Audio Kontrol 1 audio interface, and it came with something called "Guitar Combos" which is three different guitar amps that you can innstall on your computer. http://www.native-instruments.com/index.ph...rcombos&L=1

Now I want more amps biggrin.gif does anybody know about other amps I can buy/download legally? preferably something metal, like a simulation of the Mesa Boogie Rectifier Solo Head or something biggrin.gif

IK multimedia / revalver . these are tube amps but for advice if you want to record dont record directly using this the amps . cause make some different in syncro between playing and hearing the sound so its better to record your track and add the effects from these software

Those 3 amps are for classic rock\blues\jazz stuff and similar, not for metal. Maybe there is someking of upgrade or something. Guitar RIg has all the amps you need but it is pricey.

Guitar Rig 3 was released not long ago aswell

Other ones are Amplitube and Waves GTR, and those 2 are a bit cheaper i think.

+1 I think you can get the most crushing and most natural tone with Revalver.

Peavey is going to release Revalver MK III soon, should be great, I can't wait!! smile.gif

I can definitely recommend Guitar Rig 3, I bought it some weeks ago and it definitely rocks big time. As far as I remember you can download a fully functional version at www.native-instruments.com that you can test for 3 weeks, so you could check it out. If you want to have an idea about at least one possible sound, I recorded my first lesson with this software, actually I stopped using anything else here at home.
