I got the guitar speed trainer today, I can recommend it to EVERYONE! IT' s GREAT! First, you set in your profile, yuo get excersises, that are raised with 5 bpm each time, you have to say if its effortless/easy/ tiring/broken/or impossible, according to this, the drills, which are really good are set to start on your easy bpm. slowly going up to broken and then going down a bit. This is KILLING MY LEFT HAND! I' m getting cramps all over so I know it' s working. I' m going to do this on a daily basis... wow. It' s a really good program, and as an ending test, it has Flight of the bumblebee:D It has single excersises, patterns, scales, chromatic' s and even sweep's! I never practiced excercises for this long, well, long... 15 minutes:| I' m just not used to this! I think even the instructors here could use this.

Sounds like I'd be bored off it after 5 minutes. Pretty hard to grow motivation like that.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Hmmm i just completed single speed profile, and I can say 200bmp is too slow for downpicking even for me( there wasn`t impossible speed), and what about experienced players? Looks like for downpicking this sux, and in trial this don`t have any others profiles, sad sad.gif
But i can say there is very useful information.. I keep reading smile.gif

You will be able to complete single speed profile even using right leg instead of hand biggrin.gif just figured out that there can be 300 bpm on 1.1 exercise, maybe this can be useful even for you smile.gif

I just checked this out and I am sold on it. I made a profile for my upstroke/downstroke and performed the drill for it. I can see where this will work wonders for me. It's like using a programmed metronome where the speed increases as you run the drills. I think this is an awesome concept. I'm buying it now. Thanks for the link! smile.gif

It is a cool program cause you can track you progress, I tried it and I liked it. But I didn't liked the exercises too much, and I stopped using it. But I think it is great and recommend it.

I hardly motivate myself by that. My real motivation is something that I really want to play

So, my new speed trainer is Mojo Oro Lesson tongue.gif

My goal is to record it on 85 bpm tomorrow, laugh.gif
