Very late but keeping my promise on sharing the test sound files the time I tested modifying my guitar smile.gif

http://gitargunlukleri.blogspot.com/2013/1...k-dosyalar.html

Translation;

1-only volume pot

2-volume and tone pot (0.22 orange capasitor in tone pot)

3-only volume with 0.33 ceramic capasitor (treble bleed mod.)

4- volume and tone with both capasitors.

On the last example, the switch seems it didn't select the bridge pickup properly so its better to focus on neck pickup. I ended up using both capasitors but routed the tonepot to bridge only, have been using it like this for a while but kept modifying my pickups. Have fun smile.gif

Is there any particular reason that you didn't actually embed the soundcloud files here in this post so that we could hear them? Also, any reason you didn't embed them on your blog? I clicked on the link and went to your blog and there are links but none of them are embeds so you have to go to a third site to hear them (gmc/blog/soundcloud). And while this is fine and all smile.gif I wanted to just give some friendly advice that it's worth taking the time to embed soundcloud and it's easy to do . Also, perhaps explain what we are listening to in english as well as your native tongue? As I was looking at your blog I had no idea what audio was what since it wasn't in english? Maybe us both languages?

Just some friendly suggestions smile.gif If you embed and use english as well, it will probably result in better interaction with your audience and better feedback smile.gif Always try to think of your audience first and make it easy on them as possibe no matter what. IMHO smile.gif

Hey Todd smile.gif

After reading your reply I made a search on how to embed those files, seems (for blogger) it was a 3-4 click operation a few years ago but today widget activation, copy/pasting html code's for every file etc. is required and I'm really not familiar with that stuff sad.gif

I agree with you about the language, its just me being lazy and thought the basic explanation on my first post here would be enough smile.gif since very few are interested in soldering and capacitors I didn't feel the need to prepare much smile.gif atleast for this forum, let me try again;

Although my intentions were different when the recordings were made, lets just say this is a simple test to understand what would happen if you start disconnecting electronics a guitar, it starts with only the volume pot left and reconnects one by one.
