I swear the rate at which my guitar picks are disappearing ....
I'm beginning to think that I might be unconsciously chewing and eating them. I rarely find the missing ones ... unsure.gif

They're hanging out with the lost socks.

Come to think of it. If they ARE hanging around with lost socks, maybe you can fabricate a pick-attractor. Just go find a pair of your socks, preferably black or argile, and burn one into ashes. Keep the ashes in a jar on your desk. Wrap the other sock around the end of an umbrella and wave it around under your furniture. See if it turns up any guitar picks.

Let us know how that works, yeah? wink.gif

Our product development groups are already hard at work, just need some copy from the writing staff. We're calling it: the PICKSTICK.

We're rolling this out with the spring lineup:

The ladies and gentlemen in the marketing department at jafomatic industries have been working ninety hour weeks to complete the artwork and principal photography on our new THE PICKSTICK project in time for spring publishing deadlines.

The engineers assure me that 60% of the time it works every time.

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif Are there going to be some masterbuilt NOS Picksticks in the production line? I have some very rare items that will fit on the top of them, which can be bought from me at a reasonable prize. (since they are disturbing my smelling service)
And of course I want one of those, wait at least two of them, for sure!!!

I'm concerned about the rigidity of the handle. A more flexible one might provide easier access for more complicated pic locating scenarios.

Our research & development team has responded! I'm pleased to announce that we'll have a solution to this by the end of Q3; well before the holiday rush. For now, all they would agree to release was the following image and a short email that claims "we're working on it."

So, is there some trigger that you can use to clamp down on the pic when located, or is there some training that has to take place in order for the snake to grab the pic when it sees it? Are snakes able to see color? What about V pics and the clear nature of their color? I'm thinking that you've adopted the late 20th and early 21st Century standard of shoving things into production and hoping to make it work with a firmware update. I'm just sayin.

Pickstick: Snake isn't in production yet and won't be available to the consumer until the end of Q3; I'm not sure where you're getting this "rushed into production" idea.

If you'd like to meet our competitors that rush things into production, I can introduce you to Gil Bates over at Microstick.

Well, when I watched the demo of their prototype, their "stick," it came up with a bread bag clasp, a twist tie, two balls of lint, a piece of gum, two buttons, a paperclip, a penny, 6 clipped ends from guitar strings, a beer cap, a part of what looked like a zipper, a Motorola Startac cell phone and tootsie roll wrapper....no pic though. I'll wait for your snake.

I'm pleased to announce that we have partnered with BELKIN electronics to deliver the ADAPTASTICK to coincide with the Q2 launch of the PICKSTICK.

Jafomatic Industries marketing department hasn't finished proofing but they've provided me with an image to give you an idea of the ADAPTASTICK and to reassure our customers that their ADAPTASTICK will work with all possible interface and power configurations worldwide. We are a global village after all.
