would there be any problem if i place my pinkie on guitar.. ?

like when im picking, it's more comfortable if i place my pinkie on my guitar..

but most of guitar players place their pinkie in the air, or dont even spread their pinky(well,, not only the pinkie, many guitar players don't even spread any of their fingers.. )...

so... which position is the best.. ?

or there's no difference.. ???

The best is the one that works for you - whatever is comfortable really. Try a few different ways until you settle on one that is natural.

There is really no difference as long as it does not interfere with the strings you are trying to play.

Like Andrew said, it's all about what is naturally comfortable for you. I, myself, rest my pinkie on my guitar/strings I am not playing (which helps to mute unwanted strings from ringing out).
