Picking Hand Basics

Thanks a lot Carmine Hi Carmine, yes that's correct If you look down at your hand , look at the side from the thumb to where it meets the wrist. Picking should work with whatever tone you have so if you're most likely to play with a clean or mild gain type of tone then yes, by all means, go for it You are right in thinking that the cleaner the tone is, the less you can hide sloppy technique so that is probably what you are looking for.
