This is just my luck sad.gif

I had just installed my new audiocard, and everything was working perfectly...
I was ready to start shredding the house down, but then, guess what happened...
CORRECT..... SNAP..... Oh man am I pissed mad.gif

That's not the worst part... no, no....
The worst part is that I have a Floyd Rose, and I've never
changed strings to a FLOYD ROSE dry.gif

Thank God, weekend is coming, so I have a lot of time to pull my hair off
By the end of the weekend, I'm officially bald, you'll see biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

WHat happened exactly, string snapped? You can change that one string if you have one.

Don't worry kyldeee. It only takes a few minutes to put on a new string (even on a Floyd Rose), and it's not so difficult either. Just ask if you need any help, and we'll guide you step by step smile.gif

It's not too much difficult to change just one string in a guitar with Floyd Rose... anyway I recommend you to change all strings, but NOT at the same time. Change one, and use the tuner, change another, tuner, etc. Is the best way biggrin.gif

Yeah, I thought about it, but I don't think I'm up for it biggrin.gif And I really dont' know the string gauge of the old ones... If they are factory string, I would guess 009-046, but not sure ( the guitar is Ibanez )

Well, if you've had it for two months me thinks it's long overdue for a string change if the original strings were on it. wink.gif

Question:

I'm changing the strings to my JS, and I've already changed the high E string...
But I noticed that the balls in the end of the string were still there on the factory strings, and alot of people suggests to cut it off ( as I did for the high E string) but it just got me thinking, does it really make a difference, I noticed that it's much easier, if you cut the ball off.... But should I just leave the ball there, for the rest of the strings????

What do you think???

Cheers smile.gif
