Spring breeze is blowing here at last. I think I would mentally crash if i saw any more snow one of these days...

Posted by: VinceG Mar 18 2009, 03:39 AM

you dont look snowed in haha. I guess I got used to how much snow we get before the government start shutting schools/work down. I remember we were getting at least 6 inches of snow, and yet the government didn't cancel anything. So the next day, oh boy. Biggest/longest accidents on the high ways. Everything is backed up etc. Took me 2 hours to get to school when normally it only takes me 40 min.

Heres the road in front of my house a little while back... at least what used to be a road laugh.gif

Oh god, you guys would hate Alberta or Saskatchewan lol. We see those snow falls as "oh good, don't have to fire up the snowblower" biggrin.gif

Posted by: thisisnotpeter Mar 18 2009, 04:42 AM

I'm actually jealous, dude. I rarely get snow where I live here in Oregon, and would prefer to be able to just head on out to practice some snowboarding.

I've been once and spent more time on my ass than I did standing upright on the board. Got to work on that.

Garr, I envy my neighboring country on the North. I would love to go and live in Canada. Preferably Edmonton, but either BC or Ottawa would make me happy. I love the snow. People here are happy that its Spring time, but im sad because Winter is over and no more Snow. We had a great season though, more Snow this season than 5 years of Winter combine. It was awesome. laugh.gif

I guess I'm used to the weather here in Norway, because that looks like a good winter day to me laugh.gif

Now that's more like what we have here during the winters as well tongue.gif

We can easily get 4 feet of snow without anything stopping up ^^

Posted by: Sondre Mar 18 2009, 05:17 PM

Yep, that is nothing here in Norway. We had 4 feet of snow in the garden earlier this winter, and there is a pile of snow they reckon wont disappear until september. :/ School don't stop tho. sad.gif

Pics were taken in front of my house and on the back deck... whats funny is that it all melted within a day and a half... I had lacrosse practice today and even wore shorts b/c its so nice out. I never could figure out Delaware's climate shifts...
