GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Very Cool Metronome App

I just got this app on my iphone and its brilliant. I have been using simple metronomes up to now and dividing each beat 1,2,3,4, and 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & , 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a etc etc....you know the type of thing...very good for your playing!! I am hoping this app will take me a step further though...... I dont normally pay for app but this was GBP 1.49 well spent:

There's an app called Time guru for Android wich does about everything this one knows.

Time Guru is fantastic. It was designed by a guitarist (Avi Bornnick, plays in John Scofields Uberjam band).
It can be set to randomly drop beats. 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 _ 4 1 2 3 4 _ _ 3 4, etc.
Both for i and droid.

Yes..apologies for that...I didnt realise it was iphone only. It drops beats as you wish and also accents beats where you want and gives you a multiple choice of timings and note subdivisions...its seems to do just about everything and is a total inspiration. I'm glad the others say Time Guru is a good app for Android...I hope it does what this one can.I know what its like to be an Android user as well...I think there was always a lot of choice offered to Android users....If anyone has an iphone though, then this is a fantastic app for them. smile.gif

Found it smile.gif it's really cheap - about 2 bucks so I'll get it too
