You generally can't go wrong with anything from Altec Lansing. Like these, but also look at others at that site as they have many.

Perhaps you just need speakers with more bass,woofer?
There are many on the market tho.

+1 for Altec Lansing, I had a great pair a few years ago. I now have a pair of Klipsch - they are also pretty good!

As Muris says though if you need more bass then a woofer is almost certainly a must. Just make sure that your sound card can do at least 3.1 (ie two speakers plus a woofer) - 5.1 and even 7.1 is pretty common for pc speakers and sound cards now a days. Cheers, Tony If you just want a woofer, you don't usually need a 2.1 card, a regular stereo card should work fine as the woofer is driven off the stereo signal - thats how mine work.
