GUITAR BUSHIDO: BEGINNER - Task 1

Im thinking about going from Intermediate/Warrior, and do Beginner Tasks as a bonus one. What do you think?

Hi mate, it's a good idea if you feel that the lessons are more at your current level. About this take, I think that it clearly passes but you have to be careful with two things:

- timing
- right hand movement: It should start from your wrist. Try to avoid fingers movements.

That's all! You can start with the next task. Please let me know which one you decide to work.

Hi Lukasz, thanks for the update. It's ok to take your time for speed. There is no hurry to play this faster if you are practicing diary and if you are focusing on making everything sound tight and clear.

Keep on working hard!

Hey, there is some update from me biggrin.gif i still practise Metal Patterns i can play in a little faster almost (210 bpm). I will continue practicing this one for another week.

And i want make new practice routine.

Saturday - Routine 1, 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Sunday - GuitarGym, 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Monday - Listening (30 minutes), 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Tuesday - Routine 1, 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Wednesday - GuitarGym, 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Thursday - Routine 2, 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)
Friday - Music Therory (30 minutes), 10-30 minutes (Bushido Task)

Routine 1:
Chords and Chord Progressions – 20 Minutes:
1. Learn the inversions for any chord type, i.e. m7
2.Practice a new chord progression in multiple keys, i.e. I-vi-IV-V
3.Work on playing the chords, in a few positions, for a song you’re learning

Scales and Arpeggios – 10 Minutes:
1.Learn a new scale in 12 keys on the fretboard
2.Practice playing a mode and its related arpeggios in all keys
3.Run a practice pattern through a new scale you’re learning
4.Play one, two, and three-octave arpeggios shapes for a chord type, i.e. maj7

Routine 2:
Ear Training - 20 minutes:
1.Pick out the chords to a song by ear
2.Learn a riff from a recording
3.Transcribe a solo by ear from your favorite player
4.Sing intervals, scales, arpeggios, or other musical devices
5.Ear Training Workout

Learning Songs - 10 minutes

What do you think about it? Should i change something? for example make guitar gym excercise everyday? what is your opinnion? I can change this becouse i want make my practise more effective.

Cheers,
Lukasz

Hi Lukasz! This plan looks great! If you keep on motivated and work on each of these tasks focused, your practice will be totally effective and you'll get killer progress.

Let's try this plan during the next week and then tell me how it was. We can keep on polishing it with the pass of weeks.
