Great design Gabe and very user friendly structured, looking forward to the english version (I must admit, I am far from being at least neanderthalic in my spanish knowledge )

Hi Gabriel, nice Website, i really like the transitions between sections, and the youtube videos are great.
It seems that you have a lot of project going on, you must be pretty busy
The only thing that i don't like is the use of Flash, there are a lot of devices these days that can connect to Internet but don't have support for Flash, and these people won't be able to see your site .

Very cool site man congrats! Could be a teachable moment as well, maybe share a bit on the development process? Did you work with a designer, or start with a spiff template, or make it yourself? etc. Getting a domain name and a web site with links to ones social media is a very smart thing to do. Even if you are just starting out, stake your claim on the web!

Yes, would love some info or advice on this. Am thinking about doing this myself but don't know where to start. How do you find out which place to get a domain name from ?
Do you hire someone to build it for you ? Do they always do the stuff to it or at some point do they hand the keys (to the Lamborghini ?) over to you ?
Total noob. Will admit it

Hi guys! Well, I must admit that my girlfriend designed it. By the way I was with her while she was doing it and noticed that it wasn't very difficult to create. She used the site wix.com which is a site to design flash sites without being a developer. It's easier than using photoshop for example. There you have lots of free templates for starting working on them. You can change everything from the templates to make your site unique.
Check out the site: http://www.wix.com/ , and start creating a site, you'll see how easy it is.
Once we had the design, we search for sites that offers domines and hostings. I found http://ibumu.com/, that is an Argentinian site for hosting solutions. I bought the domine gabrielleopardi.com and the cheapest host. Then I re directed my domine to the wix site that I created.
That's all! If you have any specific question or need some guidance with anything, send me a PM, and I will help you!
The next step is creating the English version.

Excellent! What will you use to design the site?

Nice site Gab .
Just a couple of suggestions -
maybe include more details and some different photos of Estudio BiPolar, particularly the actual equpiment. At the mo the3 main photos look a bit generic. Also perhaps be a bit more specific as to what actual equpiment you use for mastering and the general process, i.e. QA, sequencing, gapping, processing, etc. I'd also consider including some contact details for the studio - email as a minimum - in addition to the contact form.
Otherwise a nice design. Kind of reminds me that I must get around to changing/updating ours.

Hi Tony! Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the studio section needs some work yet. Those photos are generic ones, it's not the real studio. By now we are reforming the studio so I wanted to add pics after we end it. I would also like to add videos with recording and maybe some short explanations.

One thing to be careful of - we stopped including photos of the entire studio as some internet sites were copying them and claiming that they were photos of their 'studios'. If you use photos of your own studio either watermark them or include yourself, or an Estudio BiPolar sign, in the photos to make ripping the photos off a little harder.

Hey man, nice website you got there! I like the design and every piece of information needed seems to be there.
I'm personally not a huge fan of wix because I think it's too template-ish and gives too little freedom to make exactly what you want but on the other hand it's a lot easier to configure, because it doesn't require programming. However I think you really managed to suit everything to your needs because the site looks really fresh and it's a lot of fun browsing because it has a lot of useful material, which is great!

Thanks Dinaga! Yeah, if you compare the template with the final version you will notice that both are very different. Wix lets you change everything.

Hey Gabe, I got a friend who's a very good designer and I will most definitely work with him - the whole thing will be designed from scratch using php - a programming language. I am not planning to use any templates
