Hello folks,
I'm thinking of getting an iRig as I've just ordered a travel guitar. I was initial thinking of the iRig 2 but then got concerns about latency so I then looked at the iRig UA where the processing is done in the unit not the smart device. Main question :What do you think of the UA and are there any other devices at a similar price point and size? I'd like to be able to play along with YT backing tracks at the same time and it must be able to be used with headphone, must be compatible with Samsung android but having ios compatibility too would be great. Thanks folks,
The main thing is to get some kinda suitable sound into my ears, I know it's not going to be anything like the Helix and I bet if any of you heard it now it wouldn't be quite what you thought it was  I remember my first ever pedal, it was one of THESE I plugged it into my Bandit and instantly hit the arena stage  It was incredible, but watching YT videos now, not as good as I thought, the rose tinted glasses promptly fall off.Anyway, hopefully I'll win it, my guitar should be here today, I'm away this weekend until Monday so whether I win or not I'll take the guitar to keep my fingers in tune Cheers Phil UPDATE: Well I won it, £47.50, don't know when I will get it, it is saying next Tuesday (Public holiday here on Monday). Sometimes things come early
