i love the sound of my high string and i hate the sound of my low strings (not while riffing but when soloing) what do i do o.o? using ernie ball 0'9 Try to get a hybrid set which will suit your needs. Ernie ball makes some of those sets. They have ones which have thicker lower strings for riffing and thinner higher ones for soloing. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Right, that's what I do with my SG, low strings are 10s, while thin ones are 9s

Well, you should try a different set and a different brand why not go for the Elixir?

Mate, another question - were your strings causing the same problem before? Or you just encountered it with this set?

I just dropped a set of 11s on my Floyd guitar, it helped gain a bit of tightness compared to my 9s but still doesn't give that "fuller" sound from my Les Paul.

I think that the floyd wasn't calibrated in a good way. But let me know on the results of the string changing
