Hi,

Today I was looking for a metronome that allow progressive speed (Start at a speed and keep increasing it by a certain step from a % to another %). Guitar PRO does this but it dosen't stop when it gets to the end fo the range. It keeps playing without stop when using the speed triner.

I have been looking for soem android apps and did not find anything like that either.

Do anybody know of any good progressive metronome that could achieve that? I'm mainly looking for something like guitar pro speed trainer but need it to stop when the programmed range is done.

Cheers

I'm not home right now but I'm sure GP6 does what you want. I think you set amount of repeats. Check it out.

Hi mate, if I understood you right, I think that Speed Trainer does this. Check out the last seconds of this tutorial when he sets the "repeat" times.

Isn't that what you are looking for?

Bounce Metronome does and does a host of other things like polyrhythms, going silent for a length of time etc

Hi,

Thanks for the indications and video. But no, this mostly does what I need but the problem is that it doesn't stop when a programmable repeat session is played. I mean, I can select a loop in Guitar Pro, program it to be played from 50% speed to 100%, make every speed step repeat 2 times and it will work, but the problem is that when it gets to 100% it doesn't stop, it keeps playing until I manually stop it.

I would like to program sessions of x repetitions at y speeds and the metronome should stop when it is done. But it doesn't stop, so for me, this is a problem because I don't really know when my speed training exercise finished.

Did I claraify it?

@PosterBoy: I will have to look into this biggrin.gif.

Cheers.

Yep, I tried too, but what I ussually need is just a metronome. I tried to created my drills without notes in the custom section but it did not allowed me to do it. You always have to play over notes set on the fret. This is not what I want. Thanks anyway.

Cheers.

I use a program called "Metronome Plus". It allows you to program. I am still new at it, but it may do what you are requesting. View it here...
