I am a huge fan of Michael Ammott and his playing, he is one of my main influences but his dean signatures disappoint me...I don't think they look good but I want to hear his signature pickup!! (and I will next week in the Dean Booth of the Musikmesse Frankfurt (European Namm)

Heh, same thing here. I don't like the headstock and a think you can get better guitars for your money. But obviously there are people who seem to like them.

I imagine South Africa is skipped due to lack of metal interest... or even just the lessest (? - 'most less' sounds wrong) interest.

Michael Amott is really great! But his Dean guitars kinda sucks, headstock is truly bad.. But inlays is very cool though:)
his ESP`s were much better.

Guitars look really cool , but I was never fan of signature stuff so it doesn't surprise me that guitars are not that good actually.

I'd agree there's not much in the signature range that holds much interest for me. Wait.. there's one exception. I'd love a Satriani Chrome Boy smile.gif

I like the classic Dean V headstocks too. On a V that just looks right. To me anyway.

I dont care for Mustaine's Dean headstock.

I've never played a Dean.... Or his ESP Ninja that he had.....

He is a brutal guitar player though. Thats for sure.

His brothers signature Caparison is badass too!
