Hi guys! I was listening to this great album and I decided to recommend it because the topic is the great Al Di Meola playing compositions by the most genius compositor that we ever had in Argentina, I'm talking about Astor Piazzolla.
Ástor Pantaleón Piazzolla (March 11, 1921 – July 4, 1992) was an Argentine tango composer and bandoneón player. His oeuvre revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed nuevo tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. A virtuoso bandoneónist, he regularly performed his own compositions with a variety of ensembles. -------------------- My lessons

Wow.. unusual but captivating. It draws you in
 I like the titles too.. like Cafe 1930, Night Club 1960. Sounds very historic and idyllic. |
