So I was listening on CD Baby to your album, incredible, excellent are just a couple of words that spring to mind, was reading the small piece that you put up the top which ended something like "tomorrow who knows"

Do you have things in the pipeline that will further your carreer?

Do you think that travelling/touring into other countries will happen for you?

It amazes me that people with your talent are not recognised further afield, I`d certainly come to watch a show.

That's very kind mate,thank you. smile.gif

As you probably know,my country went through horrible time during 90's.
All that caused sort of unstable situation that goes since the war stopped, has been 12 years by now.
Traveling around for bosnian citizens is mission impossible I'm afraid,
Visa is the must for almost every country in the world.
I had a chance to study at Berklee in 2000.
Then strikes on WTC happened and USA changed politics,
specially to countries like mine.
It was 6 years ago and all I can say now is the same thing...tomorrow,who knows. smile.gif

That is an amazing and touching story. I am thankful for the internet in the ways it can let you at least communicate with the rest of the world about something you obviously have a great passion for.

As I have told you before, your desire to help us is actually more important to me then your tremendous playing abilities. You pump out these lessons far faster than we can learn them so I love knowing,,,,

that I never know what you will do next, and I always have something cool to go learn.

This is awful!!! THIS is ridiculous! Politics really suck!!!!
I hope things will change for you, your people and all the artists caged by other people's greed.
Anyway, should you ever break out you'll find me in the first row!
(Waiting for you to throw me a light-pick smile.gif
Just keep on doing what you're doing, it's amazing.

I agree with Leedbreak that just the short space of time I have been with GMC you have helped me tremendously and for that I am very grateful, and yes its great that the internet brings people so much closer that live on opposite sides of the world, a couple of my best friends now have been made through the internet, they are of course from the UK and actually get to meet them from time to time which is gr8 ... however its such a shame that politics/religion can ruin what could be such a great career for you.

Assuming you are of similar age to your girlfriend, you are not too old to get into Berkeley or somewhere else, if you can manage the visa, and I don't see why not. My brother got admitted to Harvard Law school when he was 32. He did fine. Actually, I would think that considering your known circumstances, they might want to try and see if they can help you out at some of these schools, give you preferential treatment. The way you play, I would think a lot of them would be impressed.

I know a little about top schools, many in my family have gone to them. You might be surprised how decent they sometimes try to be. My brother had flunked out of school as a freshman, then went to work in meat packing houses, got married, had 2 kids, then went back to school and finished off with straight A's. They admitted him clearly, because they figured a guy that went though all that, give him a break. They do that kind of stuff.

You are not too old.

Thanks for post Fkalich. smile.gif

I'm not saying that I'm old for college like Berklee or som.
Just tried to explain how politics of western world changed paths after 9. 11.
And mostly it's related to muslims, which is really undefined category.
Muslim means believer, and name isn't telling us who believes and who doesn't.
Another foolishness from human kind, hope we've got used to it. wink.gif
Thanks for motivation again,appreciate it!!

P.S.Is it able to change name into John or som LOL

I don't see why should Muris go to Berklee at all?? He's accomplished musician and guitarist so it's better to spend the money to keep rolling your career than enrolling Berklee.

Good point Pavel.

Tho it's good to have degree or diploma but spending too much money on Berklee isn't my top goal atm.
Maybe if I get scholarship like I almost had years ago,yep maybe smile.gif

That visa-*bad word* is too bad.
I can imagine how you are on the stage, playing Hyper Cowboy looking like this: cool.gif
And the GMC'ers jumping around like monkeys in front of the stage biggrin.gif

But another question. If you had the possibility to tour around and so on, do you want do that ?
You seem to be statsified with your current situation smile.gif

But if you should tour sometime, come to Michelstadt in Germany tongue.gif

Politics do indeed suck.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have the privilege of being in contact with someone like you. Its funny just how correct mattacuks T-shirt slogan is. GMC bridges the gap between musicians who in real life are divided by oceans and politics.

I think I speak for everyone on gmc when I say you're a great inspiration to us all, and I can't wait for the day that all the walls come down and you can come and rock my city.
