Let's do a bit more with Tapping/Hammering. In this one, let's keep our right hand fairly static and shift the left hand around a bit. Keep a good eye on your muting as string noise can be a problem when doing licks where you pull off to an open string. This is great practice for creating your own four note per string tapping licks. The open string is a freebie since you don't have to fret it!

Nice!! Not only did you nail the lick, you added your own licks to it which added to it quite a bit. It's great when folks take a lick and make it their own. That's something I always hope for in quick licks. Very good technique all around and best of all you are using your pinky!!!!! Well played wink.gif

You just..

LEVELED UP!!!
and you are still the TOP DAWG!!!! In QUick Licks.

Nailed it! Welcome to the world of five notes per string tapping! Keep working this lick. As you repeat it, it will speed up in a natural way. Within a short span of time you can get this drill really moving. It sounds much more busy than it actually is partly due to the open string being almost a freebie note. With a bit of repetition you can get a very sort of hyper eddie van halen thing. smile.gif You got this sorted. You just..
LEVELED UP!!
