Hmm, well I was currently looking up random guitar stuff. And I came across a nice little meldy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADTj182rc9A Heres some more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9Y655mjACE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9Ti9gZLEog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7BScMHdsF4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLBfEobjXno https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nungkbYskpY Its Celtic, and its very awesome. What kind of scales do they use for it? Do you think you can make a lesson something like this? Its very peacful, and melodic music. Who else thinks so? This song has a flute, and it is freakin awesome. Its just for my amusment but here check it out!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saToOeLOld0 heres another cool flute one!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wciOMI2SIw I find this Celtic guitar, fascinating though. You think you could pull something like this off Muris? -------------------- “Obey the principles without being bound by them.”

MuRi5 15 PwNz0R 0f N008'5 = Muris is Pwner Of Noobs That's funny - your translation is still utterly incomprehensible until you explain what a pwner is and what a noob is Muris, a Pwner is someone who Pwns, which is internet speak for something that beats out or even humiliates something else, a noob is someone who is new to something. So, taking the cleartext representation of the original l33t above generously provided by the Uncreator, we find that: "Muris is a humiliator of inexerienced guitarists" Which I would more colloquially express as something like "Muris' amazing talents are an inspiration to inexperienced guitarists" Now, I don't understand this stuff either so I could be wrong, and I have to say, that it would have been a lot easier to say the above in the first place (although I know this post was just a joke) - some people post like this all the time and expect to be understood -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

It's how I understood it Andrew.
As an aside I have university students who now think it's alright to use 'textspeak' in their written work . That's fine by me as I think it's alright for me to dock them marks accordingly . I once gave a student -7 (minus seven) percent: he had 3 percent for content then I docked marks for his inability to communicate clearly and appropriately. Cheers, Tony EDIT: clarification This post has been edited by tonymiro: Oct 31 2007, 09:20 PM -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Great idea Ryan...and awesome videos!
I love Celtic music...been around it my whole life. There is such meaning and emotion in this type of music. It would be a fantastic lesson I think Muris. Can't wait to see it. rok PS: Ryan if you enjoy Celtic music check out Leahy. They are a band from my home province of Nova Scotia. More fiddle music but has some guitar. Amazing stuff. I've posted this before but check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A83ILAKjtQQ and this one is great too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqq0Ju3q_SU |
