GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Printed Tickets

I am going to buy and print tickets for a Megadeth concert, how does this work? Does it come out of a special drive or what? All I have is regular printer paper. So how do tickets print off a regular computer?

Christ. That isn't the best unless you have good printer. I print mine off at work usually for things like Coach tickets as the printer is a professional one. You got a college printer or work printer?

I didn't even realise bands were doing it lol. Cant they be easily forged?

I think you can't do that it's forging unsure.gif, besides, those tickets have either stamp or hologram on it.

Not if you are given them to print off at home they haven't. That is what I'm going on about. How can band ask you to print ticket off?

aaaahhh sorry man! didn't realize that.

I think you print them out on a normal paper. THere must be a code of somekind on the paper that says you bought the ticket.

Sorry again! smile.gif

To answer question lol. You just print from printer I guess if that is what it says. No special drives and its ok Ivan I was just as confused by this whole thing as it doesn't make sense.

There will be a bar code on your printed ticket. When you get to the gate they will scan it, and presto! you're in. It works.

You should be fine with regular paper. I bought tickets for a Supersuckers show a few months back and just printed them on regular paper. It had a bar code on it and they just scan it at the door.

Alright, that is basically what I wanted to know, if it works or not. My dad said the ticket is the whole sheet so it is like a certificate.

Well if I understood correctly you are about to buy a ticket online and print it ?? You can buy airplane tickets that way too..You get a unique bar code on that ticket which you print on regular home printer and when you get to a concert they scan it and thats it..Nothing special needed.. smile.gif
