I'm an ISF certified Elite Service Specialist for the Geek Squad in the Home Theater division. I do full home theater installations, commercial installations, home networking and integration and also calibrate TV's using Sencore equipment to get your TV to perform at it's best. I definitely can't complain, considering I'm a high school and college drop out And, in fact, I actually enjoy my job for the most part... The fear of flying is most definitely something that should be taken seriously! I have a lot of respect for people that have an extreme fear of flying but still do it. It takes a lot of courage... We explain to them what they can expect in the flight and noises they might hear and how things generally work with the airplane itself. Alot of times when they can put a face to the guys that are flying the airplane they feel a little better. You could take an introductory flight in a small airplane and they usually let you fly the plane itself for a little while...sometimes just doing it takes away some of the fear. Trust me....I don't want to go down in flames either..I'll be one of the first to the scene of the accident if you know what I mean!!!! I have a flying fear myself and i traveled by plane a year ago, from Croatia to Moscow - around 3 hours flight, i already said "Goodbye" to myself during the take-off and though something like: "Well, if the plane crashes, than it's just meant to be that way for me!" and than i was pretty comfortable during the flight. Night flights are the worst in my opinion - you just take off and go to big giant nowhere! The thing is - you have much bigger chances of dying in the car than an airplane. Jess Yea exactly m8! ,my wifes Uncle has a light aircraft and he took me up in that, I thought I was pretty brave agreeing to it to be honest, it wasnt too bad coz it was a beautiful day and it wasnt too bumpy but I was still bricking it (if you know what I mean), he usually goes up for an hour`ish I managed twenty mins before I asked him if we could go down, I`ve tried hypnotherapy for it too, but that didnt do anything, I thought maybe if I could go visit the cockpit during a flight then it may help but so far on the two occassions that I`ve asked they`ve said no I`d love to go to Tobago or somewhere exotic, my wife doesnt mind the flying and I feel I`m depriving her of that kind of holiday coz of my fear, but I cant help it, I truly am scared of it, as buckjones said, its very hard to explain, soo many people I get annoyed with that say rubbish to me before we go on holiday, just makes it worse You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. My wife's best friend's mother is the same way. She does take some sort of medication for it..I can find out and get back to you...but it works pretty well for her and they travel quite a bit by air.
