This is a SINGLE STRING lick based on the E Minor Scale. It can be played on every string so give that a try as well. It just becomes a Minor Scale for whatever string you play it on. E.G. G Minor, B Minor.

I'm doing a "Strike Once Hammer Many" approach here. So keep a good palm mute to dampen string noise and then strike the open string and hammer on the fretted notes. It's a very simple idea that can sound very cool in execution. The muting makes it sound almost like each note is a strike. So it sounds like a four note per string scale. You could play this without using the open string, it would just be much more difficult.

This is a great lick to build some speed on!!

Give it a whirl!!
