I can only guess the japan market is a bit special, as with everything else.

Well the Jazz 3 picks they sold at the shop are made of Ultex which, according to the Jim Dunlop site, gives the widest possible dynamic range, a sharp attack and a light weight that, when combined with the Jazz 3 shape, makes a formidable pick!
I REALLY should have bought more than 3 lol. As for those guitars, i've done some research myself and they are Zemaitis models (link) which are basically very high quality, handmade and richly designed guitars. It says on the site somewhere that a Japanese company has an official license to build them in Japan (rather than ship them all from England where they originated). The website has a list of dealers in the USA and given they are made in England i dare say it'd be easy for Europeans to get a hold of them too. But beware, they're expensive! The one you like Audiopaal is 945,000 yen which is almost $9000! The most expensive one there is about $20,000 though *damn* I think i'll wait until i win the lottery to buy one of those hehe This post has been edited by Chief Brody: May 3 2008, 01:43 AM |
