Thanks Muris. That's really beautiful. The dynamic is great. And you composition is really catchy. I found some Pink Floyd's spirit in that tune. You're really a great musician.

Nice piece of gear you got yourself there! Thats one of the best if not the best modeling-preamp money can buy! tongue.gif

Everything you hear is coming from AxeFx,
I guess you are referring to those crystal delays etc, it's all from AxeFx.
And I played 2 gigs with it already, both straight into PA, it's very user friendly for live IMHO.
Thing is, you must have good monitoring and nice PA to run it this way,
otherwise you'd need a poweramp and cab which means that you'd have to turn off
poweramp and cab simulations on AxeFx and THAT would be a shame. smile.gif

Fractal Audio doesn't do endorsements so everyone has to pay for it,
I got this one for about 2000 euros from G66, they are EU distributors. smile.gif

Cool Muris! I think it would be a great idea to run the Axe into Boss or Fishmans new portable PA-systems for stage use. (those with 11 speakers inside...) A friend of mine running this for acoustic bass, and it sounds awesome. Ok, it won't give the kick having four 4*12 cabs in the back, but it gives a really good stage sound, much better than all monitor system I've ever heard.

That won't happen I'm afraid, at least not soon,
there is only one distributor for Europe.

I recorded straight into Daw through my audio card.
There is no need for any kind of amp or cabinet when you record with AxeFX,
it has wonderful emulations of many great amps and everything sounds quite real.
An amp with cab can be used as personal monitoring on stage tho. smile.gif

when you say record into daw through audio card ,
i do not know what that means , never have recorded or know what i need?.someday hopefully ,
my next purchase needs to be something for live shows-
for my sound, something that i hope has the most of what i want and need .
(what kind of expression peddle sounds does this have ?)new thought ---sorry
)and if whatever i buy can start me in the direction of recording that is all the better---------signed--computer illeterate
as far as the mean comment , how saturated and metal the distortions can it get?
hope this helps
thanks and what you did does sound sweet

Sorry, I am really having some troubles to understand you and split statement from a question.
Could you perhaps use question mark (?) when you ask a question please?
It's probably just my poor english but it'd be appreciated. smile.gif

Recording straight into DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) means recording in your recording software,
most of the time I use Cubase tho you can use Reaper, Sonar, Logic, ProTools etc.
Solid home recording is very based on a solid audio card or interface,
I don't know much about all available products out there
but you should get tons of inputs if you post your quest in gear section, no doubt.
Regarding expression pedal (I guess you talk about AxeFx), by default it has no expression pedal,
it's just a rack piece of gear, 19".
But it's controlled by a midi foot controller (to change presets/sounds) and you can also connect
1 or few expression pedals to that same midi controller in order to control various parameters
on AxeFx like volume, wah, drive, delay etc.
How saturated and metal?
All the way up, it has everything. smile.gif
