Hmm this can be a good idea, but then again when I think about it...Later on edits in questions can slip unnoticed by the instructor when he comes to see new questions...So IMO its always better to leave a new question/comment to be sure to get an immediate feedback...

I agree with Bogdan. Just be careful when putting comments and it will be OK. And if you do make a mistake, it will not be too often I guess, so the mods can attend to it.
