Task 42: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Heavy-Metal-Riffing-Vs-Funky-Grooves/
Warriors, seeing as you've taken well to the rhythmic challenges of the last Task, I present you with more riff-tastic goodness !
It's only a level 4 but I think there are some tricky elements, specifically the rapid moving power chords..
There's not much else to verbalise here apart from to remind you of the grave punishment for not completing a Task...
Deadline is next Friday 23rd November or you will be receiving the Twilight series box set for Xmas...
I'm having some troubles locking in with the groove on this one. Not sure what is throwing me off... when I play along with the main video it seems OK. When I go to record just sounds like I'm off or missing something.

Yo DG ! Thank you for your take !
I think you stayed in the groove pretty well. I didn't hear anything obvious that you're missing, if anything. The only thing I'd say is that to get the same vibe to add the open E on those ascending chords around 0:30.. the bottom E acts as a pedal tone, occurring between each chord and making it feel like a continuous slippery riff rather than stop / start etc..
Nails the Donut !
