I like them a lot but I'm on the fence with them. I think Jack White is pretty cool, but I also think he limits himself a lot by playing only with Meg. On the other hand, I think the Raconteurs are a great band. I think the Black Keys do the rock duo thing much much better than the 'stripes.

The Black Keys are a very raw bluesy rock duo, guitar and drums. If you want their best record, it's probably Rubber Factory. The earlier stuff is more bluesy, and the more recent stuff is getting more "rock" with lots of influences and upped production (especially the latest album, but it works really well).
