GMC Forum _ Uploads _ Some Classical Stuff

Posted by: Tolek Apr 20 2009, 02:53 PM

Hey guys! smile.gif
Here are two videos that I used for my instructor application at GMC:

For the interested, Kris didn´t accept me as an instructor because there isn´t a big demand for classical/acoustic stuff. I´d have to top the actual level and vidoe/audio quality to be submitted. smile.gif Next time!

Cheers,
Tolek

Both takes were very good man! smile.gif

Try to use this experience as a motivational boost to raise your technique, video and audio on even higher level mate. I remember first takes that I've seen from you here on GMC, and I think you have made a tremendous progress so far. By pushing the limits even further it will eventually pay out cause you are very persistent and talented musician. Rock on mate! smile.gif

Ivan, your words are so motivating. biggrin.gif Of course, I use every little critique to progress. I have my goals and I know that only like this I can achieve them. And yes, I learnt a lot at GMC, among others from you. smile.gif
Thanks for the comment and being here. biggrin.gif

Tolek,

One graphic word. It's Dance F'er Dance. Just thought I'd warn you:D
Really, you're gonna go far! You can play alot of styles and stuff.
If you keep it up, I'm sure that you'll have a musical future!

Very nice playing Tolek! smile.gif

Nice job man! I have never seen this side of your playing before. It was kind of a shock to see you jam without your JEM. laugh.gif

Don't let the Instructor thing get you down man. Take Ivans advice, use it as a motivator and "Keep on keeping on".

Your a good player, just keep doing what your doing and it will come. smile.gif

Very good job Tolek! You are a great guitar player!

Nice takes of those pieces mate!

Great work you've done biggrin.gif
Keep it that way

I enjoy those - thank you. There were some dynamic touches there that, whilst I would have liked more of them, I really enjoyed and was impressed by. It's a shame that there isn't as much demand for classical/acoustic playing - I think there should be. As you say - 'til next time!

Forgot to compliment you for this one Tolek... you did a very good job, nice fingerpicking and feel for this kind of music ( wich i really enjoy too ). Keep it up man.

You are all so kind!!! biggrin.gif I think it´s impossible to get bored or don´t like playing guitar anymore with so great supporters! Thank you so much for the motivation and critiques/compliments I get from you. Those keep me pursuing my goal.
I hope the meeting that I´m organizing will take place! biggrin.gif

Tolek, that was quite impressive!
Great playing, nice quality and super cool pieces!
It would have been awesome to have you on staff, but maybe in the future it will happen? :-)

Thanks, David. I have to work on audio quality, I think. I´ll buy a mic in future in order to convince Kris (to make you happy hahaha laugh.gif). I´ll apply again because all of you motivate me to do it. biggrin.gif That´s such a great feeling. But, I have to be satisfied with quality and my playing in that video. smile.gif If you like, you can give me some hints. I know that you´re very experienced. wink.gif

Haha!
Not that experienced..
I think a mic would help for sure.
Also, make sure your background covers all of the back. Other than that, I liked what you did!

Ok, let´s say one of the most experienced from GMC. biggrin.gif
Thanks, I´ll try to eliminate those issues!!!
