what do you prefer more...I always think that one band should have Vocals,Drums,Bass,One Guitar, and Keyboards....
but do you like more another guitar insted of a keyboard.....ro some thing else?
before I started a band I was thinking that we need two guitars and a keyboad...but I then I heard Faith No More...and it's seams enofe to me...
so what do you think....
i would prefer the same but two giutars
yeah I gues it all depands off wehat nusic do you play...but my moto the less instruments the better....SOAD have one of each(- keybords)...and they sond just fine to me even if it is hard music....
Pink Floyd(80-90s Live work),I can't count them all.
My Dream Progressive Power Metal Band: Therion, or Haggard style,
Typical metal band; 2 Guitars (One vocalist), Bass, Keyboards and Drummer
...Cello, Viola, 2 Violins, Harp, Bassoon, Oboe, 2 Clarinets, 2 Flutes, 2 Cornets, 2 Trumpets, Trombone, Tuba, 2 French Horns
... 2 Soprano, 2 Alto, 2 Tenor, 2 Baritone, 2 Bass
Now, lets see that perform at a local club
hmm.. I think the basic should just be vocals, two guitarist (lead and rhythm) and a drum. If I had more options, I would also do a piano/keyboard in it and maybe an african-percussion-something.
We have:
3 Vocalists
3 Guitarists
1 Drummer
1 Keyboard
1 Violin
1 Cello
I like the sound of a big band jazz orchestra, or a funk band with brass section.
So definitely, drums, bass, piano/organ, brass, horn, alt sax, tenor/bariton sax/trombone, electric guitar, maybe some percussions as well.
Well, few years ago I though that 2 guitar were the best but nowadays I prefer to be the unique guitar player and use the stereo to emulate 2 guitars (with different delay in each channel and different distortion) and have a keyboard in the band. And I wish had a violin or viola, hehe, but that's really difficult
I like to have it as one guitar player and a drummer, plus a bassist. Don't have a bassist to jam with now but I have a good time jamming with my drummer friend and I don't really feel anything is missing.
The guys i try and jam with sometimes are a bassist and a Drummer. The bassist can also play Drums and the Drummer and scream / do hardrock vocals.. Me and the Bassist can do singing and the bassist can also play keyboard and saxaphone..I love the idea of large bands.. 2 guitars + bass + drummer + Vocalist + keyboardist BUT if this is not possible i like the idea of 1 guitar + vocalist + bass + drums.. The other setup i like although wouldn't want is a 7 string guitar + 6 string guitar one guitarist on vocals and a drummer.. depends on the genre really...
saxofone is not bad to......there are a couple of bands here with the sax and it sond great..
I think power trios are cool.
My band concist of vocals, drum, bass and two guitarists.
One guitar sounds lonley, there's so much more that can be done with two - or one guitar + one keyboard.
I like a band with two guitars ( one is vocalist), drummer, Bass, and keyboard. Pretty typical I guess, but I think that it's one of the coolest setups.
I do think its really cool to listen to bands with all kinds of instruments, but like I said above I prefer playing with 1-2 other people with a kind of black keys, nirvana, white stripes, hendrix or cream kind of thing... you feel like a mean lean machine 'cause there's nothing extra
I like 4 piece band ...Drums,bass,vocal and guitar..Than all 4 members must give a maximum to fill their musical space Also its not a crowd Though I love funk brass sections
Well, I must say my desired band is the Hollywood Orchestra !!! Love all the symphonic arrangements and I love violin melodies
