I have just started to explore the world of arpeggiated chords and patterns. I can really hear the color of the chord and have a much more appreciation for the quality of the chord. My fingering is slightly different then Joes when it comes to playing the F/D, G/D/ and A/D.

Hi Ken, well done on another REC take. Playing chords as arpeggios can be very challenging as there's a lot of string crossing involved and we also need to pay attention to keeping the note velocity as even as possible to avoid really loud notes next to quiet ones.

However, you do a really good job here. Your pick attack is consistent and your timing, something which you've had issues with on other takes, is right on the money here

The only slight criticism I can give is that those ascending chords at 0:44 and 0:46 sound out of tune. Interestingly the first time you play these chords it sounds better, it's just the second repetition. One of the strings has either gone out of tune during the duration of the piece or maybe you're slightly pulling the note sharp with your finger?

Other than that, excellent!

Great to see you experimenting with arpegiated chords!

I think that you did a good job with this lesson and the only thing that I would add is that I feel that you are rushing a bit timing on this take. You tend to play a bit before the beat so put some little attention to it during the next days. Check out the original take and see how the instructor is playing even with the beat.

Nothing else to add, keep on experimenting with chords.

Hey Ken!

I see you do a great job keeping your practise regular and posting the takes. To be honest I have not much to complain on your take aside the tuning. That what distracts from teh very first moment of listening. Guitars are tricky instruments. They actually never tune perfectly (digital-wise). Very often we need to recheck the tuning on frets, not onyl open strings. It's worth giving some extra time for tuning process and stretching the strings. When playing full chords, it will be visible a lot. Ther is also a string gauge vs finger pressure thing. Try to be carefull to not press too strong - it will cause pitch to go to high as well
