I went with other just beacuse I don't really stick to one particular type of music. I play a bit of Zeppelin, a lot of RATM, Metallica, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Jack Johnson and Johnny Cash. Kinda all over the place.

When my favorite band is Symphony x its hard to answer exactly what style, i said metal though, symphony is metal but they are so different its not traditional, i also play classic rock and prog, but no punk, running powerchords just arn't my thing smile.gif

I voted metal because that would have to be my overall favorite.I have gained so much from playing Metallica , Pantera, Megadeth,Killswicth engage ect, i've used them all to make my own style of playing.I feel overall you get the most skill out of metal as to the other styles listed,of course classical and neoclassical are more advanced in my opinion ,but there's a big difference in skill when trying to play a Pantera song over a alternative band like three days grace (for example).
