Eric Johnson, Tapping/chord harmonic technique

Is he lightly touching the strings after making the chord ring to produce the harmonics or what? I can't seem to get that sound. If you watch carefully he makes the Harmonic with his pinky and then uses the pick to play the note in front of the harmonic point, that's where he gets that little percussive 'slap' just before each harmonic! Ah, thanks for clearing it up! That was actually the first harmonic technique I learnt - when I started I thought that was how everyone did harmonics.
