What's your price range?

Taylor guitars are some of the finest I've ever played. You could probably pick up a great used one on eBay for $1000.
Shop around. The 4 or 5 series have never failed me yet. The Dreadnought models are great for strumming chords or flatpicking.

Also Takamine, or a second hand Breedlove or a Lowden. If you want something a bit different an Ovation.
Cheers,
Tony

I am thinking of getting a Martin, anyone know where I could find the best price online? Because I will need to get it shipped to Australia.
Steel string, price range $0 - $2500
