Hey guys,
I'm looking for a distortion pedal that is used in elektro-music (well, it sounds elektro to me  ). http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=qMhXvaAf4k8 Bit like the synth effect in the first rapping verse (0:20). I want my guitar to sound like that. I think Muse uses this kind of sound as well in Supermassive Black Hole. It's sounds so dirty it's badass  What distortionpedal am I looking for? And do you have any recommendations?

I think that's a bass you're hearing here.

I too think that is a bass, and you could probably get very Muse-esque sounds with a Fuzz and Octave pedals, like David said.
