So I have all 3 soundtracks of Lord Of The Rings, yet I can't find this music piece, or maybe it just didn't made the cd's. I hope it did though. So if anyone knows which track this song is, then it can really make me happy.

Here is the scene, I'm particularly looking for the one where the songs starts at 2:08

You can hear most of it in The Fields of Pelennor, just parted up and changed a bit. On the CD you can hear that it starts pretty much like in the Youtube-film, but stops for a different theme at 1:20. Then, at 2:53, it goes back to the theme from the film.
There's also another theme in the film that I think is the one you're looking for. I don't think it made it for the CD as it's pretty similar to a theme from Isengard Unleashed. The way they part up, mix different themes and all that happens all the way through the CD's. For example, I heard a small melody from the start of The White Tree (Track 4 from The Return of the King) that is just the same as one that is played when Boromir is killed by Lurtz in The Fellowship of the Ring. I for my part think the most epic moment from the CD and from the movies is The White Tree, during the lighting of the beacons smile.gif I get chills almost every time I hear it.

Hey thanks. I actually figured it was "Fields Of Pelennor. I really liked the part where the violin kicks in though like the one in the movie, but I guess that part didn't made it to the cd. That really sucks, I love that part.

Oh, that theme! It gets repeated alot through the movies, so they probably had to cut away some of the different versions. Sad that they had to remove that one. mellow.gif

Might not be right Vince but I think that a lot of the OST was composed b a guy called Howard Shore. I don't recognise the piece here which may be an indication that its OST.

Cheers,
Tony
