Its exactly the same as the behringer ucg102. Its only 15 dollar and free shipping . Thought id share it here.

Haven't tried this but I'm always afraid of the noise level with those cheap ones. And noise level can destroy the possibility to comfortably play with distortion. I think that even those budget presonus Audiobox devices are something that should be as a starting level for this interface adventure. My friend had some ESI intereface and also did work fine but none of them I could advice without personal tests.

That's a crap.
Better get an M-audio Fast track, the one that headbanger got. it's a decent interface for little money.

Well you can't beat the price!! it can be a starter unit and can serve as a backup later. Also, it's very portable. Let us know how it sounds smile.gif

P.S. You can also use the cable that comes with ROCKSMITH as an interface. It's a guitar cable on one end, USB on the other. I got one from Ebay and it works great smile.gif

I think that now that you bought it, you should try and make the best of it - a review based on your experience will not only help everyone here looking for an interface, but it will help your experience as a user as well.

Ok...so let's give it a try. I suppose You still gonna have some noise, based on the amp sim setup. I used toneport for some time and it's wasn't noisy itself...it was just a matter of noise going out of the simulations. But to be clear...didn't use it for direct line recording with external amp sims.

Why have u asked us here for advices, if u have ordered it allready? biggrin.gif

That thing probably doesn't have it's own Manufactured Asio drivers, so u'll had to use Asio 4all.

My name was mentioned so I thought I'd add my thoughts. I know you don't want advice snackajacks, but these threads are read by millions of people interested in this sort of thing. I have the same simple M audio FastTrack as mentioned by Slavenko and Sensible. I won mine in an auction for about 50 euros on an internet auction site..(some people may have heard of it. Ebay ......laugh.gif ) Before I got it, I was plugging directly into my computer mike input soundcard and got terrible interference sounds whilst playing through Vst amps...particularly with some filth added.
The day I plugged this in to my PC via USB lead was the last time I even considered a bad sound...even with dirt ohmy.gif . In fact..It stays plugged in all the time whether I'm playing or not. I love it and would recommend that anyone who doesn't want to spend fancy money or plug in more than one guitar at a time plus a mike, to get one. It is plastic and not metal...but as I'm not planning to drive my car over it...it doesn't matter.
I decided to get that particular soundcard/guitar interface because lots of people on GMC gave their recommendation. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
(I am not receiving payment from M audio....not yet anyway.... But anyone from M Audio reading this and wants to send me a fistful of euros...then its always appreciated laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

This looks very interesting - I'm really curious about the results. That must be the most affordable guitar interface out there?
I also don't think an interface needs to be very complicated for basic home use (recording guitar playing/practice videos, home demos etc) - so this thing might work very nicely! Please let us know how it works when you get it.

I say great choice!
I actually got one of these to take with me on my (quite often) travels instead of taking the bulkier Toneport ux 1. I have no complaints about it! I've actually stopped using the Toneport! I use it with Amp VSTs and Impulse cabinets and get a really great sound. It doesn't really have any excess noise issues unless your using really high gain VSTs. The only issue I had was the drivers that came with it (Garbage!) as they didnt work at all! Just download the original Behringer drivers off their site and bobs your uncle!
I'm curious to hear what you think of it
