GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Active In Chat Icon
Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Dec 19 2008, 08:45 PM
What are those blues/red icons in the upper right corner?
Some of you might remember http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=18066 by Canis. We have got it now!
From now on you will easily be able to see if there is any activity in the chat. The number beside the blue icon shows the amount of members in the chat and the red one the amount of instructors.
I hope this feature will help our chat become more active!
Oh and if you click the icon...you enter the chat. That's what I am going to do now!

I'd love to but I've tried several times before but my computer won't let me. This one needs administrator rights in for installing som Java thingy to manage that, which I don't have.

Hmm sounds like you should ask the one with admin login to your computer - to install the latest version of java (the links provided below the chat window).

It is likely to be the "dot" kind of special character in your username causing this - send me a pm if you would like us to try and fix that character in your username.

Great feature. There´s only one problem. At the moment, nobody´s in the chat, but the icons show me that there´s someone. Strange, eh?
Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Dec 23 2008, 12:13 PM
Yes it's some kind of bug - I hope we can get it sorted!
Posted by: Tolek Dec 23 2008, 12:24 PM
Fine. It doesn´t bother me, it´s just a bit irritating.
