I was hear one song on the YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPtfnR8Y1uA ( I don't know the song's name. Is it "Still Got the BLUES"? ) The SOLO is very nice. I would like to play guitar just like this. Don't know when will achieve this goal. tongue.gif

I couldn't play guitar like him, but it seems like very familiar with Am Pentatonic I learned yesterday. So I made a simplified version as my homework today. smile.gif

Here is the recording today: http://soundcloud.com/willhtw/learn-electric-guitar-12

I know it's not good at all. Hope can get some advice whatever good or bad advice.

By the way, can I request a video demo for this simple SOLO? Or can I request this in the v-chat room?

Thanks,
Will

Ahhh yes! "Still got the Blues" by Gary Moore, one of my all time favorites. Ivan's lesson on this song is very good, I used it to learn to play the song. Am pentatonic works very well with this tune, as you have already noticed. Best advice I can give you in learning this song is patience, and break it down into little pieces. For example, start out by learning just the intro, then once you have it pretty good move on to the first verse and so on. There are a few fast parts in this tune, and to be honest I did not think I would ever be able to play them, but if you just start out slow and work at it eventually the speed will come. If you go to guitarbackingtrack.com and search "Gary Moore" they have the music for this song, so you can learn to play along with the music, or just use the track to improvise stuff in Am Pentatonic. You may want to check out some of his other stuff as well. (Do a youtube search for "The Loner" by Gary Moore, its Awesome wink.gif
