Hey there. I am desperately looking for new ways to improve my recording and what not.

I found out that I can record video on my Digital Camera, but the video and audio quality doesn't look that great on it.

Does the quality get better once you transfer the video over to your PC or is it generally the same ?

Thanks.

The quality remains the same, but you are perhaps perceiving the recording as bad quality due to small LED screen and lo-fi speakers on the camera itself. When transfered to a bigger system it will sound and look better. Best way to check out is to transfer the video.
Whats' the cam btw, does it have firewire? If it does you can stream directly to PC and monitor video on the PC monitor.

Yeah, as my fellow said, the quality won't get better. It will look the same at best.
However, you can improve the overall quality with more brightness, saturation, and so on.
What video editing software are you using?

Which cam do you have ? Can you tell me the model? You should be able to get decent recordings with any digital camcorder? Or you are recording with a photo (digital) camera? If its a photo cam then you are not in luck, depends on model though.
