I'm trying to learn some songs in standard tuning as most of the ones i know are tuned down in some way or dropped. I'm looking for mostly rock/metal but i wouldn't mind some other styles as well. So i'm thinking anything except stuff by Metallica and Iron Maiden because i know of them already. Cheers

Almost everything by Opeth, they got a few songs in dropped D tuning and the whole Ghost Reveries album is played in Open Dm tuning I think, but besides that pretty much every song is in E standard.

Anything off Rust in peace and peace sells
Dread and the fugitive mind
Symphony Of Destruction is really fun to play, and pretty easy too.

Erotomania by Dream Theater - those string-skipping quintuplets are lovely things to practise (said with undertones of sarcasm) tongue.gif
