Hey,
I've started a new youtube channel to post my guitaring videos on, and here's the first one! I chose to do For The Love Of God by Steve Vai.
Have a listen and let me know what you think!
Thanks!
EDIT: For some reason the video won't show in the above link, so here's a direct link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxOaDbij9-U

Just had one time to listen through it all.
Nice cover of my favorite Vai tune.
very good mate. I dont know the original all that well but that was damn fine.
Thanks guys, will hopefully put some more videos up soon!
Awesome cover Adam Loved it. Cheers mate
Very impressive Adam.. you've got a great sustaining tone.. how did you get it ?
The signal chain was a bad horsie wah (with default settings)->Pod HD pro->computer via USB.
I can't remember the exact chain for the pod HD patch, I could probably post it as an attachment if people are intereted, though. I *think* it was a tube driver at ~1/3rd gain->screamer at 2/3rds gain->Marshall plexi 100->4x12 with condensor mic->digital delay->reverb.
It sounds a little more high-endy than the original, sounds more like the live tone vai uses I think, but could do with some refinement.
