I Think Something Might Be Wrong With My Amp O.o

Like there's no sustain or distortion, I'm pretty sure it isn't my guitar since I've tried two different ones and I think it sounded pretty good through a Pod with headphones. Any ideas? If you tried the guitar with POD and it works fine then it's not the guitar or cable. If you tried with other cable it works fine? I'm not sure what could be wrong, maybe the input jack is loose on the amp. Try to jiggle it a bit to see if you will get some crackling noise out of jack contacts. I regrettably admit I didn't play much guitar today but when I did play for a few minutes it sounded fine. Maybe I was just hearing things or maybe my there is a short in something...I'm pretty lost.
