Today i was thinking of buying a modeling effect, i'm not quite sure how it works yet but it would be awesome to have 32 amps within reach of a single button
i'm trying to create the best home sound i can get, this is my plan:

guitar: gibson les paul strd
amp: marshal stack
modeller : behringer V amp 2
effects : wah wah
recording: not sure yet, should i just put a plug in the computer from the headphone exit, or put a mic at a certain distance from the amp?
computer program: don't know either

here one of the best guitarists ever.. and you've probably never heard of him

he used to be in brainbox and focus
now he still plays with jazz bands now and then

a few links:

http://www.op.tv/index.php?p=Het+uur+van+d...tret+met+gitaar ( a dutch documentary)

especially the stuff in the documentary totally convinced me, i'm a believer now laugh.gif
he's an exeptional guitar player, once named the greatest guitar player ever by some british magazine in the 70s

if you get into him you'll see he's different from anything else

i'm trying to go to one of his shows as soon as possible

hey guys

i'm finally gathering enough money to start thinking about a LP
now i gotta decide which one
there are the studio, studio plus, standard, standard faded, classic and many more

I have enjoyed trying out a lot of then at the shop, but still i had trouble finding the difference between them
i'd like some advice from people who own one (or more, you lucky bastard) laugh.gif

now budget i set to about 2500 euro's
the standard faded and studio are a lot cheaper, i heard they havent been coted like the others, anyone got experience with those

thank you

since the vibrato is the thing that makes or breaks a guitar player, i thought it would be fun to all show your vibrato's
the thing is that i sometimes have trouble putting vibrato in my whole step bends (especially on the lower frets) and holding it for a long time

so for example put in your vid :
a bb king kinda vibrato, mostly with ur wrist
a vibrato in a bend
your own super awesome creative vibrato laugh.gif

and reply what you thought of other people's vibrato (so we can improve)

addition to the hardest song you can play

Mine i'd say: probably be voodoo child cause the wah's so great
but anything with wah is ultimate fun i guess laugh.gif
without wah it could be any heavy riffed song i guess
it used to be the audioslave riff from freelicks (when i was a beginner guitarist, i didn't know any other very cool riffs)

this one is probably easier to find than the hardest song, its the song you think of playing after a hard day of work biggrin.gif
