Hey,

Been trying to learn die to live, does anyone know how to get those harmonics near the start? The ones that go like this:

--<5>-------------------------------------------
-------<5>-<5>------------<5>---------------
---------------------------------------<5>-----
---------------------<3>------------------------
--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------

I know you use your finger on your left hand and just place it on the string just over the fret wire, but for some reason I can't seem to get teh 3rd fret on the D string to ring out. Is there another way he gets this harmonic?

-Adam

You probably need more drive, pickups with heavier output etc. smile.gif

Muris is right, the harmonics of the 3rd and 2nd fret are the most difficult to get. So be sure to place really well your finger above the fret and as Muris said play with enough gain to make this happend. biggrin.gif

You need to set up appropriate sound in order to get 2nd fret harmonics, that on e is the most difficult!

Definitely get a hi gain preset and practice a bit on the frets. This should help you nailing the sound just right mate.
