Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Equipment: Fender MIM Strat & POD X3 Live.

Note: Muris plays some dive bombs on the first two licks. I skipped that because my guitar won't stay in tune if I do that. ph34r.gif

This take did sound great do me, and you had a pretty decent feel, but I think the sound was a bit harsh, and it was a bit rough on the faster parts. Nevertheless, the solo has some fast licks, and it is great that you are able to play it. well done mate.

I glad to see you did a take on this part!
Try to relax more for this kind of playing,
bends need to be more fluent
and also add some reverb or delay to your sound, goo effort! smile.gif

I think you need to relax more when you play technically out of your comfort zone things. In order to do that you really need to learn the piece better before recording it. With that said, you need to go over this one more times and as you play it more and more, it will become stronger and everything will fit into places.
