Broken Finger - Suggestions?

I broke my finger yesterday. The ring finger on my fretting hand. Obviously I can't use it for 8 weeks but I've decided to continue with music theory (I really enjoy theory) and as far a playing goes power chords, drop D. Any other suggestions? Now may be a good time to focus in on pinky exercises... any suggestions?
