Hey GMC. I need help getting the best possible capture settings for creating YouTube videos (mainly REC takes). I am using the Logitech Pro 9000 and Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. I also have REAPER.

There are just many different methods, codecs, formats, etc. and I can't seem to get anything with a good final result. I need to get some halogen lights for sure, but I don't think that is my only problem right now.

Thanks a lot,

-Brandon

Turn Off the "real<light" settings of the camera. Also turn off the auto contrast/gain.

Then adjust the contrast yourself so that image is not dark. The darker it gets, the better framerate it provides, so find a good spot in between. Increasing gain helps.
