Are you kidding? This is great! Even the production is fantastic, arrangement is very good, composition is good, although I think you improvised here.
Reminds me of Al di Meola's "Winter nights"!

Well thank you sir smile.gif

Yes completely off the cuff.
Sat down with the 12 string, laid down a rhythm...
Grabbed the Martin 6 and tracked a lead.

I don't do covers... None. Did that for years while gigging. Now I just want to play and have fun smile.gif
Just wanna be me LOL

However, out of curiosity, I will now look up Al's tune.... smile.gif

Do that, you'll like it, because it is this type of thing. That albums is great example of good "2-guitars" arrangements, production and overall music. It is one of my favorite di Meola's albums, and basically I like that kind of thing. Arranging for 2 guitars is difficult, you have to "know" the instrument and its characteristics, positions, voicing and so on, so it is tricky. Few people can arrange it so it doesn't become boring.
Like, if you make something with drums, bass, pad, guitar, vocal, it's kind of easy. It is easy to fill the sound space. But one instrument or three...hm, problematic.

Good examples of 2-guitars bands are:
Al di Meola & Paco de Lucia
Bireli Lagrene & Sylvan Luc
Vlatko Stefanovski & Miroslav Tadic

I recommend you to check it out on tube, I didn't want to spam your topic with embedded videos smile.gif

Thanks all for taking the time to listen. Appreciate it.

Thanks Dan, the progressions are just more fun to work with on the 12 string. Its one of those guitars that I hate to pick it up. Cause when I do, I can never put it back down... Addicting.
